I, Hulya Guler, am in the business of creating drawings and paintings. I use this web site to offer my opinions about topics related to art, not to collect information about people.
I do not use cookies. My web site is, however, a WordPress site, and WordPress uses “strictly necessary” cookies for commenting and to allow users to remain logged in to sites where they have accounts. Since commenting is disabled, and there are no user accounts, such cookies should not be relevant on this site. I use a minimum of third-party plugins, some of which may also use “strictly necessary” cookies. For example, if you enter information into my contact form, Everest Forms may place a cookie on your computer to ensure that you don’t have to enter the same information twice.
By default, my web host collects basic information about which pages were accessed, when, by which IP address, etc. I do not find this information interesting and do not store it, analyze it or use it for any purpose other than debugging.
The only personal information I get about you is what you choose to send me via e-mail or my contact form. If you contact me using my contact form, the message I receive will also include your IP address. I may save this information in order to refer to it in case you contact me again. Aside from this, I do not collect information about people. Nor do I share or sell information. You can feel safe here.
I do have a mailing list, but it is intended to be for a small number of people who are genuinely interested in my art and in what I have to say. I therefore only add people who have specifically stated that they want to be included, and I provide an easy way to unsubscribe. Sending me an email or a message through my contact page will not get you on my mailing list unless you specifically state that you wish to be on it.
